Important Membership Information

The following explains how to become a 3RFC grower-member, the timeline for acceptance, and important details pertaining to membership in the cooperative. More detailed Bylaws and a Membership Agreement will be provided to growers who have been selected to join.

  • Interested grower-members must fill out and submit the membership application. Applications for the 2026 season are due by January 31, 2026.
  • The Board will review all membership applications. We will get in touch with selected growers to schedule a zoom or phone interview in early to mid February 2026 to learn more about their operation, experience, crops, and interest in the cooperative.
  • Growers will be notified by late February if the Board votes to approve membership in the cooperative. If membership is accepted, the grower will sign a detailed Member Agreement and pay a $300 membership fee, due by March 15th, 2026.
  • A small percentage of sales made through the cooperative will be allocated to 3RFC, as determined by the Board and outlined in the Membership Agreement.
  • All members will follow the 3RFC Pricing Guidelines when determining the price of their products. These guidelines will be provided by the Board and reviewed and discussed by all members before the start of the season.
  • During the growing season, the grower must list products on our sales platform a minimum of 16 out of 33 market weeks to retain membership for the following year.
  • During the season, members must complete three (3) Market Assistant shifts to retain membership for the following year. More details on Market Assistant shifts will be included in the detailed Member Agreement.
  • You will be invited to participate in all meetings, workshops, events, farm tours, etc. sponsored by 3RFC. Attendance is not mandatory, but is encouraged.
  • At any point the grower or co-op reserves the right to disengage partnership. In either case, the $300 yearly membership fee will not be refunded.
